I went on a tinder date with a girl last night that was around my same height (5'9 177cm) and she was really into me. I also wear Nike Air Max shoes too that have a tall sole so she may even be slightly taller than me. It really surprised me that a chick that could be slightly taller than me and still be into me. She even flat out told me I was attractive. A while ago I used to be insecure about my height, but I slowly started to embody a not give a fuck mindset when it comes to it.

Despite this mindset change, I've still always thought girls at a minimum want a guy that's taller than them. This girl being my same height and possibly even slightly taller has radically changed my perspective on height going against everything I've read online. Especially since this was a tinder chick and they stereotypically only want men above 6'.

Is there a TRP explanation for this? I hit the gym about 5x a week if that matters, but I'm not even really that muscular. Also this girl was giving me an insane amount of shit tests over the phone before I set up the date, but almost none when we met in person.
