The sick thing is I bet Harvey

- is a creepy pig

- used his position of power to have transactional sex with women so they'd get movie roles

- his movies stopped being hits so they targeted him for persecution.

- the women could have walked away but they wanted the career boost.

Harvey was a creep, but at the same time he never forced anyone. They saw the opportunity to move up and he had the connections, so in that way of thinking they used each other. In some accounts the accusers even considered themselves in a relationship with him. But you know, their careers were flat-lining and they were being forgotten, so they needed the spotlight.
