How many of you have moved to better towns and cities and how has it affected your life both dating and non-dating wise?

I moved from 40k city to 800k city and i feel huge improvements,i feel like i was living in a cave all the time in such small city,and i wasn't even living in the city,i was living in a 2k population village 10km away from the city,my life has improved so much non-dating wise.

Dating wise: Great, you're the new, exotic mysterious dude. Chicks dig it. More fish to choose from and play with.

Non-dating wise: Great. Gets you out of your comfort zone. Sometimes it's shitty and you can get lonely, but as long as you have some buddies to shoot the shit with and hobbies it's bearable. For me it improved my relationship with my family back home as well. It did the opposite with my childhood buddies back home though, but that's life.

Moved from the west coast to the mid-west and let me tell you, my life has improved tremendously.

First of all rent is cheaper and I get more bang for the buck. Currently I pay $450 for rent, all utilities included and I get my own bathroom, laundry and dryer, full amenities. we also have a pool and just a really nice home overall.

Before moving, I was living with my mom. I was living in a 3 bedroom condo with 6 other people. Now I live in a 3 bedroom house with 2 other people and the amount of stress reduced from having more space is astronomical.

I found a job that I love and there's so much less traffic going and getting to work.

The gym's are much less packed and there's so many different types that the prices are low since they're all competing. I currently only pay $23 a month for my gym which includes 7 different locations, pools, hot tubs, steam room / sauna, group classes like yoga.

Just the fact that I moved away from somewhere familiar to somewhere completely new really changed my life. Like any negativity or stress that I'd subconsciously connected to the area I was living at is obviously gone now.

I've met new people and have new friends who relate with me more.

Dating wise I get a more upper hand. Specifically because my ethnicity is around 47% in my old area and here in my new city it drops down to 30% so here we're seen a little more scarce.

What really helped me out was moving in with my roommates. I met them when we all used to live in our old area and they moved out here. They had an extra room so I said "fuck it" and moved.

They're the most charismatic, center of attention people I know. We throw parties often and when we're out, people just come up to them and join our group. After I'd bring a girl over and they'd see the dope ass house I live at and my awesome roommates, they just want to keep coming back.

Haven't moved but I did road trip to other states and I felt I got more attention there than my current hometown. I'm guessing it's cause I'm more exotic as spanish guy in those areas versus my town. Non-dating wise, I feel that it has given me a rush of adventure being in a new environment.

Not yet but I will be moving to Moscow. Not sure if its a smart choice as a foreigner.
