I think the existence of Africa is a pretty good argument that unplanned reproduction doesn't guarantee success by our standards.
Women engineering ubermensch by choice is probably a lot closer to optimal eugenics than you'd initially suspect. Firstly, all that sperm has been vetted on medical grounds by the vendors, and secondly the women themselves are selecting based on thousands of years of evolutionary imperatives. It is attacking the problem of fitness from two angles at once.
Furthermore, invitro treatment is something of a filter at the level of the woman inasmuch as if she lacks the necessary fitness the pregnancy will fail. Even without medical intervention the number of deformed children born is incredibly low simply because most pregnancies will spontaneously abort for defects that we can't even identify at present (if you want reliable live birth defects then you have to go full Pakistani and have generational consanguineous relationships).
We already electively terminate virtually all Down's syndrome pregnancies and other identifiable deformities, so it's hardly a mystery what will happen when you can buy a flawless baby to spec from a factory.
Like it or not humans are far along on the path to being a post biological species. Whilst we'll always have wild type humans, we are going to end up with post biological human species fighting it out for supremacy in the future. There's just too much to win in that arms race for it not to occur.

I think you need to reconsider what the word guarantee means in this context.
If we are to compare natural selection to managed selection then success and failure is clearly possible with both.
Yes, as we very well know, women always make very good decisions when choosing who to mate with. They always take in consideration the improvement of society as a whole. Hence why in the US you have an epidemic of single moms raising bastard children of drug dealers.
If you think women are making questionable decisions at present then you should be in favour of reproduction from a curated sperm bank. That's going to be of a higher standard than what's available in her environment.
Nobody said anything about improving the species. People are making individual decisions for their own benefit. That being said, if people are choosing better DNA and culling defective children then that's an artificial pressure that will encourage beneficial traits in aggregate (at least from the perspective of disease. Appearance is more subjective). We already see that with elective medical abortion for Down's syndrome.
The reason you have an epidemic of single mothers is that it is financially possible for them to do so. All you'd need to do to stop it is kick the money chair out from under them (not that that will ever happen). Let's be honest: ghetto trash isn't getting invitro, it's wealthy white women. Two very different demographics.

Not necessarily. There are a bunch of confounding factors (reliable birth control, abortion, maternal medical intervention, fertility treatment itself, etc.) that haven't been around for that long that could be throwing assessments about fitness. A woman could be having a baby at 18 and under natural circumstances both she and the baby could die without our medical technology. We have statistics on maternal death rates and infant mortality rates from countries that don't have our standard of medical care. Our idea of fitness is already heavily skewed by technology so where do you draw the line?

To be honest if I would go for surrogacy, I wouldn't take any egg-cell either. The true crime is, that sperm bank are widely spread and available since the 80s. Surrogacy on the other hand is heavily restricted, at least in the EU. Guess, who is pushing the hardest against it. Right, our precious fighters for equality, the feminists.

It is entirely forbidden in Germany and most of the EU, only allowed for nationals and under strict rules in Spain and Britain. Your best bet as an EU citizen is Ukraine and Russia, both having weird legislation in that regard and even weirder enforcement. In Russia for example the surrogate mother is entitled to keep the baby, if she wishes, even if she is in no way biologically related to it.

Lookk at it right now. A lot of men, even mgtow or redpill men are continuing to pay taxes and support the welfare state. Guess what?1 The welfare state is the number 1 enabler of degeneracy and sluttiness. Why arent single men voting for restricted goverment way more than women? Because men have an inheret bias for women. Thats why feminist policies are implemented, they have 50% of support from women and the rest of the support comes from a part of men.

I am ok with eugenics. I'm just not ok with how there is no one overseeing if these women are actually capable of birthing these children or taking care of them.
I actually have a "funny" case of this in my extended family. My stepfather's sister who is obese and has a bad temper birthed a son from artificial insemination. Often she uses the kid as an extention of her ego, such as not letting him have toy guns or play videogames. Just now during the pandemic she decided to buy him a tablet because she can't be bothered by him all day long. She often makes other people take care of the kid cause she needs her personal time.
