When I was younger I struggled with black and white thinking a lot. I thought I was passionate and had conviction but in reality, I just struggled to consider other POVs.

I've done a lot of work on myself to overcome this but ironically, I've created a new problem - a problem knowing how I should see things.

Here's an example.

My recent ex has only had two jobs his whole adult life. He's 40. He worked in one big tech company for 10 years and another for 10 years.

I thought this showed loyalty. Now I'm thinking it's lazy.

A guy currently messaging me has had 6 Jobs in the last 8 years (I checked his LinkedIn). I immediately thought RED FLAG, he's flighty and always looking for the chase. But then I thought ... It could also mean he's ambitious?? Because all the titles were going up and up, he started as an accountant and is now chief finance officer of a big company where we live.

Am I just talking myself round in circles?? Do I need therapy for this? I feel like maybe I don't trust my own judgement.. and that this is how I end up in bad relationships. I'm so confused. Thanks for listening.
