Who needs philosophy majors. Just gather a bunch of men in a room, provide music, snacks, tobacco, booze, and the occasional cig of weed. You'll get plenty of philosophical talk without havintto go to college.

We're at peak diversity now, corporations are going to feel the sting of normal people that comprise 90% of their fucking business boycotting them because we're all sick of this diversity quota bullshit.

So in response they're going to say "OK, this is our casus belli" and start trimming the fat. And you know they're going to trim the fat because for fuck's sake they've already cut everything they possibly can out of customer service and cannibalized the product lines. The only fat left to cut is the quota hires that are a net liability because they cost more to employ than they ever will make in revenue.

It's always about how it affects women. For men getting rid of the draft may have been a curse to men. Back when the draft was in effect millions of men had a common experiences and bonds. Also there was the ever present danger of millions angry veterans organizing or revolting who were not necessarily married to the regime via pensions, security clearances and contractor jobs. Men could network via those bonds in ways that are not possible today for men.

So much was the danger that the most generous GI bill benefits in the US were right after WWII during Korea and Vietnam. When we went to a volunteer for the GI bill stayed the same for 30 years and was no where near as generous as the current GI bill. The GI bill was created to prevent another Bonus Army (1935) situation in the US and avoiding millions of disaffected veterans from joining radical parties. Many of the early brown, black and blue shirts of fascist movements were WWI veterans. The backbone of 1917 October Revolution in Russia was made up of WWI Veterans.

Patriarchy was kept in place and the GI Bill was introduced as a way of keeping that mass of men integrated into society and not revolting. Or at least organizing and protesting in the streets. Without that threat men have become an after thought.
