You might change your mind down the line bro. I'd wait a bit before making such a drastic decision. I personally want kids of my own down the line, but assuming I didn't, I'd wait till at least 26 to have a vasectomy.

Definitely, start saving for a vasectomy right fuckin now. Get your parents to open a brokerage account for you and put it in low risk corporate bonds and old, big ass companies. Then, at 18 look at your vasectomy money, write down that number on a piece of paper, stuff it in a drawer somewhere and keep adding to your investments. Then at 30, take that number out and laugh at the silly idea that you thought of wasting that humble sum of money, that ultimately lead to your now small to potentially large fortune, on such a procedure that early in life (not that it's a bad idea, it's just unnecessary as long as your tactful and and have a good head on your shoulders, at least at 18). Then you can get 100 vasectomies if you want, or a house, or take a year or three off work and just travel (or even just stay home play video games and watch football all day with all the fixings like beer and pizza, what ever you want).

Honestly, if you actually start saving now (idk how a 15 year old has a source of income, but get it lil man), and you don't spend it on silly things like fancy cars and watches or vasectomies... You'll be ahead of 90% of your peers in 10 to 15 years and 10x happier than getting a vasectomy at 18.

You're quite young. Read about it, possible side effects and complications, how vasectomy doesn't make you sterile right away (you have to wait some time before you are clear) and so on.

Depending on how mature you feel, you should wait at least until 18 if not late twenties.

This procedure is permanent. Success rates of reversal are under 5% in first year after, then they quickly fall to 0% as you develop immune response to sperm.

If you really want to get it, freeze some sperm. There's no way to reverse vasectomy but you always have this insurance. There are a few other ways you can still have kids after vasectomy but all of these are also procedures and require in vitro fertilization (which costs a lot more than vasectomy).

I had mine at 18, for many reasons, and now, at almost 30, no regrets. I focused on my education, career and hobbies while having a little fun sometimes with no worries about baby-traps.

But this is me, my life, maybe I simply got lucky. If you want make such big decisions, do them on your own. Learn everything you can, think it through, like really go to the extreme best and worst case scenarios. Think of higher order consequences, how it might affect other areas of your life, seemingly unrelated.

Whatever you choose, do it on your own, for yourself and do it wisely. Don't listen to anyone, don't listen to me.

You could. But I advise you to save up some more to have load frozen in. Just in case you change your mind later in life. Undoing a clip isn't guaranteed to succeed. And if you have sperm stored you'll always will have the feeling: better have it and not need it opposed to the other way around.

I would advise you to first put your sperm in a sperm bank because you never know about the future. Maybe 20 years later you want to have a offspring so just play it safe.

Hell no, don’t do it! Your brain isn’t even fully formed until age 21 or 24. Don’t make lifetime decisions like that. Vasectomy is permanent and what if you change your mind at 40 or 55? Yes, women are crap now, but maybe they change 30 years from now who knows.

I had a vasectomy in my 40s. I wish I would have done it at 18. I hate condoms. U don't need to save up. It cost about 700 to 800. It's not expensive at all. U can work at McDonald's and make that in a few weeks. Ur not buying a car. Lol
