So, long story. Last April, I friended a guy on my FB University page because I liked what he commented, and plus he was in the same program as me so networking and connections. But, he sent me a message kind of flirting with me and talking a lot. At that time, I was very shy and was dealing with bad skin problems so I was pretty intimidated by this. I do well in real life though, I had guys show interest but I didn't reciprocate because I wasn't interested. So he asked me if I wanted to go to a party and he also drinks, which I don't do neither do I party, so I didn't answer. I thought he was interesting though. And he sent me messages asking why I wasn't responding and I felt really bad.

So a year later a few weeks ago, I messaged him saying I was sorry I ghosted him and that I'm sorry if I led him on, but he said that he had a girlfriend (2+ years) already that it was okay. I'm also pretty confident now. He also started talking a lot to me, he's pretty extroverted, and asking personal questions, like what do I look in a guy, how many children I wanted, my background, etc. I didn't really care because he and I shared the same views on a lot of issues. I actually enjoyed hearing what he thought on things and I liked the idea of an online friend. Also, I don't really relate with females, I'm pretty much a tomboy but I'm pretty feminine.

He said he wanted a family and kids, and that he didn't like how girls slept around. He asked if I ever was in a relationship before, I said no. I might have had a bit of a crush on him but got over him because he would mention his girlfriend a lot, and I thought they were a great couple. He also told me personal things like his family that he said he never told anyone about. He mostly initiated the conversations though, and I thought it was strange because I never had that. I would talk to guys and it was usually brief, like how is it going (updates). He would also send pictures of his vacations, his gf, what he made (he's in electrical engineering), what he cooked, his sisters. He's also very intelligent, I think my brother and him would get along. The thing is I don't have a profile picture because I'm still insecure about how I look even though I look much better than before (my eczema cleared up), but I made excuses whenever he asked for a picture.

So yesterday, he asked if I wanted to hang out, like I thought okay, with other people, but he then said if I wanted to go hiking in a forest or eat out. I told him I was pretty busy but in the future. I'm kind of confused by this, like is it normal for guys with girlfriends to have female friends, like want to hang out with them? Also, his girlfriend visits him like every week, she lives in another city, so it's kind of long-distance. I don't mind meeting up but I rather be anonymous in case he's a bad person. I feel like he's an opportunist though, have his cake and eat it too type of person, I'm not sure if I like that.

What I want in a relationship, I want to wait until marriage, and preferably marry a Christian man. He has all the qualities of a guy that I would like but he's not a Christian, though he expresses a lot of interest in it. I have talked to many guys before and I felt it was great experience to know what I want in a future partner, so I'm not rushing, but I would like to get married before 24-25.

TLTR: Friended FB guy but ghosted him, reconnected and he had a GF all along, but he talks to me alot, asked if I wanted to hang out with him.
