I'm just curious because men are very capable of expressing selective emotions like anger and frustration, which are seen as legitimate "emotions of men".

Why do men constantly emphasise on 'COmMuNiCatiOn' and never pick up on their partners' emotions of sadness, uncomfortableness, non-enthusiasam etc. Especially on non-verbal and body language cues.

I'm not sure about the nature Vs nurture debate, but it does seem like men are not able to empathize with their partners especially LVMs.

I am aware that porn sick men objectify women and do not acknowledge that they're living, feeling human beings, this can be a reason.

With the framework of Toxic Masculinity gaining clout, I was wondering if they're projecting the lack of emotional connection and awareness with their own self onto us ? Or are they purely misogynistic ?

I would also love to hear from people who have dated HVMs with emotional depth. How were they different ? What do you think led them to being different from the rest of LVMs ?
