Simple - penis envy. Perhaps not for lack of the unit itself, but for lack of the qualities that go along with having one. The usual stuff - real capabilities, interest in hobbies, intelligence, directing one's own life, integrity, honesty, honor, caring, logic and feelings/intuition. They want all that, but cannot have it, so as usual they fake it and carry on with the dress-up-and-make-believe. And while that doesn't make it real, they still move forward with the fantasy - they have nothing other than this to work with. They just run on feelings - no logic and reasoning on board. This is why they cannot take in having any of this sort of stuff explained to them. Its always their feelings over actual facts - its all they have. Could explain why there's no complimentary 'vagina envy' term.

If a man acted the way women act, he'd get nowhere in life. He'd end up with no money after a series of horrendous financial decisions, he'd lose his job for being a shit worker that does nothing but gossip and cause problems, his family would start to avoid him for his standoffish and entitled behaviour, and he'd lose all of his friends in a heartbeat. It takes a lot to work toward the standards of behaviour men set for themselves and each other. All you have to do to become more like women is reject whatever morals and values you have, and start treating everyone around you like trash while expecting them to fly to the moon and back for you.

Most of this is obvious and already addressed in the other comments. However, I'll raise a point I've heard somebody else make: women tend to think collectively, while men compete individually.

It makes no difference to a man if some other man proves he is just as X as Y. When a man does something great, that is his achievement.

Women on the other hand think more collectively. When a woman sets a women's record, all women think of it as some kind of achievement on behalf of all women. They take personal ownership of that success.

When a guy beats a world record it is exciting, but it isn't like every guy brags at work the next day about how men can run 100m in however many seconds. We can recognize and even celebrate the achievements of others, but they are the achievements OF OTHERS.
