I understand your income + job is important in status too and I was wondering what jobs you guys had.

Is it necessary to be in a high-flying corporate job (or jobs that pay well and have prestige like doctor etc) or have your own (successful) business?

Are you able to do things like attract "high quality" (well paid/intelligent) women or earn respect from men/society as a whole with a lower paying job? If so how do you do it?

What should you do if you can't handle the corporate life/office politics?
