When pressured on this, women will deflect it by saying women attempt more suicides then men, therefore they're still the victims of patriarchy. Once again, their feelings are more important than your actual problems.

The best way to avoid this bickering is to be honest - regardless of who has it worse, I care more about male suicides because I am a man. I do not not care about female suicides, but the people who suffer that are most like me come first.
