Hey,

I've been using more dating apps lately (tinder mostly) and noticed I'm lacking game/strategy or whatever you want to call it. Most stuff I find online seems outdates (corny PUA stuff from 2011) and I'm looking for good, up to date advice on online dating and texting.

My ''strategy'' right now is basically

  1. good profile, pictures etc, getting matches

1. Texting her

Something short and somewhat witty, not trying to hard.

2. texting back and forth a little bit

Mixing in teasing and high value attitude. Also I'm not asking questions too much, avoiding turning it into an interview or boring ''sooo what do you study?'' questions. How much I text depends on how I feel like the conversation is going.

3. Try to move away from the app

Once read that you're not a real person to a girl as long as you're on some dating app and I think this is true. Also I feel like a girl is more likely to meet up then because it's not a slutty tinder hookup anymore in their mind. I usually tell them to give me their instagram

4. Asking her out

As soon as it feels right and we there was some basis for asking her out when we texted (could be a stupid joke or common interest etc.) I ask If she's down to meet up.

That's about it. Am I missing something? Is it too much? Too little? I have tons of matches and some girls are pretty engaged when texting me (fast replies, long texts) but still I never get any dates.

I know irl dating beats apps but not possible bc of corona right now here.

Happy to hear your thoughts.
