I don't really know why I write this post but here goes:

I've been gmow for close to to years now, but with 21, I guess I'm on the younger end of the MGTOW spectrum and could really use some advice/support/help. I'm struggling. It's a hard thing to describe, really. I just feel lost. I just want to take a couple books, my backpack, and jump right in my car and give in to my wanderlust/fernweh. Drive all the way to the north, watch the polar lights and see the world. But I can't do that. I'm doing my degree and try to help my dad (a real hero btw) as much as I can. Years of being a miner/clearance diver in the navy and decades of hard work take their toll. And he ain't getting any younger. I feel like my old man shouldn't do so much labour anymore, so I do stuff for him when I can. He tells me not to worry, but I can see that things are getting harder with every year.

I feel torn. I don't want to waste my best years away without having seen something of the world, but I can't abandon my duties at home and my degree. I plan to finish my degree and then take half a year of before doing stuff. But it kills me (even though I like what I study).

Excuse my rambling, but I needed to get this out.

Have a good day
