I've recently became very aware of how closed off I really am with people, even my husband. It's difficult for me to accept his compliments, to show tingles if he says something sexy, to smile at him coyly, etc. I have always been that way with guys in general and I know it's a turn off. My husband didn't seem to be affected by it when I met him, but I can tell he gets happy, a sense of satisfaction, and depending on the situation, maybe even turned on in the times I show vulnerability. I love that I have the power to make him feel that and I want to tap into that more. I have trouble showing my raw emotions to people in general, as growing up I was made to feel ashamed and embarrassed of my emotions, even positive ones. I have to work on letting go of my defense mechanisms. Another thing is my lack of confidence in myself and my personality. For example, I definitely need to lose weight so I can feel more comfortable with the way my face looks when I smile.

I love the wisdom shared in this sub and the emphasis on the subtle things women can do to help their captains feel like a million bucks. Thanks!
