Had an employee get pissed off that I wouldn't let her leave late shift early 'so she could be safe'. She was literally walking outside the front fucking door ten feet to her car. I told her to finish her work early and she can leave early.

Im 6'2" 230 pounds and if I get assaulted on a night walk, it's probably gonna be with a knife, brick or gun.

I don't wanna get assaulted or robbed either. Just because I don't live in fear, doesn't mean it's ok if it happens to me (and a man is statistically more likely to be seriously injured in an altercations than a woman is.)

I remember reading a case, don’t remember what country it happened or when exactly, and there was like a serial killer whose victims all had something common, for lack of memory let’s just say it was, all the victims were wearing a red dress. So the investigator said in the media something like “women make sure you don’t go out alone especially not if you’re wearing a red dress since all the victims appeared to have been wearing that”. Anyway there was a backlash from feminist groups saying something like “how dare a policeman tell women what not to wear, tell the killer whoever he is not to kill”.

I just remember thinking how stupid and crazy they were. Like the serial killer obvious doesn’t care about the law or right or wrong wtf are they going after the policeman for putting out a warning
