Almost every dude is worried about this shit. I've noticed women in the workplace have become so arrogant that some wont even talk to you if you ask a simple question or just say hello. It's just part of the continued poison that is feminism. Thanks to feminism it's becoming less and less possible for men and women to have any kind of relationships, much less romantic ones. I still have a few friends that have survived this shit, but in the workplace, I just avoid women. The work-from-home thing has helped with that. You can't get accused of something if you're not even there.

I don’t feel nervous, I simply avoid them. If a stranger woman approaches me, I usually talk with a poker face, keep it short, and move on.

One of the best decisions I've ever made was to actively ignore women.

I don't engage with them at all. If a woman asks for help, I ignore her and keep walking. If a woman says hello, I ignore her and keep walking. If a woman standing in front of me at the grocery checkout says something to me, I ignore her.*

It's not because I'm fearful of false rape allegations. Rather, I've found life to be more enjoyable this way.

* There are three exceptions: family, retail employees (cashiers, servers, etc.), and people I hire for my business.

The problem is only when you are alone with a woman.

If you are in the middle of a train station or inside a shop nobody can falsely accuse you.

Still it's scary how your reputation accounts to nothing, so a junkie woman can literally give you problem for not giving her money.

I've reduced my compromising contact (any 1 on 1 situation) with women to zero. I won't even meet with professors with an open door. I'll just correspond via email or ask if they're available to Zoom (and I record the session and save it).

I will be polite and respectful to servers and retail people. Women in public are invisible. I don't hold doors if at all possible. Young and attractive women are the worst, they expect attention, so I give them zero.

I've never cared much for talking to strange women or strangers in general, so my views on that haven't changed much.

However, #MeToo does worry me sometimes. When I was younger, I got dragged to parties by my sister a few times, something I didn't enjoy. Sometimes I worry that someone who was at a party I don't even remember might accuse me or if some woman says something happened there I didn't know about and I get asked about it and say I don't know, I'll get accused of covering something up. When I got dragged to parties, I didn't socialize much and often sat in a corner until the whole nightmare was over.

Back then, a good Saturday night for me was late night reruns of Dr. Who or Red Dwarf, dialing BBSes on my Commodore computer, or putting the headphones on and tuning the shortwave bands for something exotic. Gee, I am getting old.

Why approach women? Women are the ones who created MeToo. And they will use it agains you when they feel like it. Your nervousness is your brain telling you: Hey, dumbass, WTF are you doing?

PUA cold approaches didn't work very well pre-MeToo with a 1-3% chance of getting a more than a 3-minute conversation level of success. Under today's rules a cold approach makes you guilty of (serial) sexual misconduct for just trying to talk to her.

The only reason to approach a woman is for business or it's a job requirement. If a woman approaches you, assume its for business or job requirement. If she is flirting, always assume she is just being friendly or running a scam. If she is friendly, always assume she is just being civil or professional. If she is just being polite or civil, exit quickly she really doesn't want to be around you.

I agree in some sense that newer generations of men are being put into an identity crisis since what their dads used to do was considered normal, but now it's "wrong". (ex. opening doors for women) Now it's considered a microagression or misogynistic. Men don't know anymore if what they're doing it's correct or not

fuck that. the only women that are not like that (thus worth it) are already taken, I guess they're on high demand lol

Not nervous but suspicious, by some months i had to work with a attractive woman under my subordination, i managed to keep her away most of time, almost zero interaction, and only traded words explicit about job related things, an never alone/closed doors. Was not that hard as i didn't fuel her ego, so she keep distance too.
She is married to a man who works in maritime trade, makes very good money and is always on sea. I don't envy him.
