In terms of confidence being built, you absolutely can fake it until you make it. I moved almost 20 times between k-12 schooling. So I wasnt very good at making friends. Come college I just acted like I was the most social person ever, and it worked, people believed it and eventually so did I. Im not repulsively ugly, but I'm no model. I'd say I'm an average guy. There are still girls I know I will never even get a glance from, but thats okay, im trying to get the best girl that genetics allows me
