Asian women like softboys, and a growing contingent of women in latin america do too. K-pop and Jpop are still pretty niche amongst general population of women in the west, but increasingle popular with the roomers due to the third wave of kpop. If you actually look at the models, they have ottermode bodies, great facial skin, and nice full hair. General indicators of health are attractive.

You're missing the good looks it takes to be in K POp that's what. Ok I'm a bit older than you average K pop star. But I can tell you, this exploded like 8 years ago until now and I benefitted greatly. . I've been your typical Asian American dude who lifts. Very muscular with westernized hair styles , American and European clothing style. I got my share of women through pick up, day game etc. But not like this....

Since the explosion of kpop, I started going to Korean hair dressers and really changed my hair cuts to form a hybrid type hair style (imagine fades with perms). I wanted to be down with the times and I loved the results. Colored my hair different colors and dressed differently sometimes. But the thing is I like fashion and being trendy. That's my thing. I'm not doing it for others but just to look good and love to experiment.

As a result, I was getting bombarded with messages from European, latina, and white American girls. Especially ones in niche amwf groups on fb. Thirsty as fuck. Off these groups alone I must have fucked over 20 or 30 girls in a 4 year span all over the world while being married. Many of them knew I was married and didn't care. Granted im "pretty" enough to pull off the look while still looking masculine. Kpop has done wonders for Asian men and dating.

Don't forget about K-Dramas which are modern romance novels on steroids. The plot is usually an 8 girl who meets a 10 guy who is rich and successful or reaches his potential by the end. The 8 girl gets the 10 guy with an attribute besides her looks like morals, ethics, something intrinsic. Throw in a 9 girl who the guy rejects for the 8 and you have the basic formula for a lot of romance novels, hallmark movies, and K-Dramas.

Hordes of women from all over the world are flying to South Korea even during the pandemic to teach English, but with an underlying fantasy to find their "Oppa" (Korean Guy). There's a thing called Koreaboos which are girls who act like a stereotypical cute Korean girl, but way over does it.

This isn't just status. It's the power of story and narrative in your mind. I would argue k-dramas has created a fantasy romance narrative in the women's mind just like you hearing stories of women's bad behavior like cheating on her boyfriend with a higher value man reinforces the red pill in my and other's mind.

I love observing and trying to understand what motivates people to do what they do and find the whole phenomenon fascinating.
