I absolutely believe that sex work should be legal and destigmatised, but I don't think incels are a good reason for that. The incel violence we've seen is caused by mental illness. The lack of sex is surely frustrating for a man, but it is usually also a result of the mental illness.

Simply letting these guys buy sex is not going to solve the bigger problem that they feel alone and unwanted. People want to feel desired, and a prostitute will never solve that problem.

First and most importantly, men have to stop being socialized to believe they're entitled to women's bodies—the bodies of female strangers, the bodies female friends, the bodies of female partners. This belief leads some men to conclude they’ve been wronged when romantic and/or sexual success doesn't come easily to them or at all.

This is not true and fairly dangerous. Exactly this kind of lingo creates Incels. You tell them they are not entitled to female bodies, while exactly every good-looking captain material man is entitled to female bodies. Who's going to stop an alpha man, really?
