So this story is a small but powerful example of how fucked up our world is.

I'm all set to hang out with this girl. Early in the afternoon of the arranged date she calls to tell me she has this barbecue to go to and so we agree to go out after that. We agree she'll text me to let me know she's done. So far so good.

The night comes and still no message, no call. When it's almost midnight she texts me to say she wanted to see me. I tell her I can't.

Me: You could have told me [the thing was going to take so long] early in the evening.

Her: Yeah, but it was late when it was over. And it was far from home. (Notice there's no "I'm sorry".)

Me: But if you had let me know, as we agreed...

Her: I know, my bad. I promise I'll make it up to you. (As if she's so fucking awesome she can just seduce me into not being mad.)

Me: Make it up to me now.

Her: But I'm so tired. Look, I'm sorry (finally!). We need to properly arrange something soon. Xoxo, good night.

Me: Good night.

Her: Are you mad? (Hahah, what's the name of that again? Oh, it's SHIT TEST.)

Me: Yeah.

Her: My bad. I'm really tired, I thought of sending you a message before but it was late already. (Yeah, you thought of me.)

Me: Well, I didn't go out with my buddies waiting for you. (Lie, I went out was soon as the sun was down.)

[Pause: the last time we were to meet, I had to call it off because of an issue at work. No pussy is worth jeopardizing my job. Besides, work-related issues are NOT the same as a barbecue.]

Her: Oh, but last time I also had to cancel things with my friends.

Me: Last time, I tried to let you know 3 hours before our date, although you only answered the phone and saw my messages an hour before we were supposed to go out. (And I apologized several times, not in a needy way, but simply acknowledging the fact that this kind of thing sucks. And I made sure she had some spare something to go to instead.)

Her: "Mr_Bell" (she calls my name, she's kinda upset), I am exhausted. I woke up really early in the morning today. (Yeah, me too. Every day. 'Cause I have things to do. And I don't feel the need to make a big deal out of it.)

Me: That's ok. (Really not in the mood for this shit anymore.)

Her: Let me know when you have some time to set something up. Miss you. Good night.

Me: I will.

Yeah, just like that. I wasn't even close to being mad at her actually. No woman is worth it, and shit like this happens all the time when it's up to them to make things happen. But I played along just to see what would happen.

And alas, they feel no shame.

Had I been the one not sending her a message and ditching her for a barbecue, shit would be falling from the sky.

EDIT: I should have been clearer. This is not my game. I couldn't care less about the girl. She's a 6 and not even very bright. But I wanted to see TBP with my TRP eyes. And I wanted to see how women react to mistakes on their part. Finally I wanted to see what it's like to throw a shit-test.
