I think we all know how ineffective the kungfu shown in movies are in actual practice as a martial arts. However, I did not know that there are martial arts from China which are quite useful in MMA.
The shuai jiao is a grappling art. I may be wrong but, from what I've seen so far I can describe it as picking up and throwing your opponent or grabbing them and throwing them away as many times as you can. Here are some of the videos.

sanda or sanshou is a striking art. It looks quite similar to kickboxing. Here grabbing opponent's leg, striking opponent's head and throwing opponents is more common. Here are some videos.
