I don't have my son this week so rolling solo. Ex and I rotate weeks (Friday to Friday). She'll get him on Tuesday\Wednesday my week and I do the same for hers. It's the perfect balance right now.

I'm going to be moving into my new spot in a few weeks. A buddy is giving me a washer. I drove 40 mins in my 95 Dakota to get a dryer for $60. Thing still runs great with 153k miles on it.

I could go out and spend a ton of money on a brand new set. But why not keep it easy.

Brought the dryer home and took 30 mins cleaning it up before unloading it.

Then got on my motorcycle and took a 40 min ride before dark. Came home and relaxed and turned in a bit early and got 10 hours sleep.

No one questioning me. No one second guessing me.

Just peace and quiet.

 

It's the simple things.
