It's really saddening that this is a salient issue for so many teenagers. Society has truly failed the youngsters since the advent of social media and the free reign of porn and abuse on the internet. Even the sexual part non withstanding, the amount of truly f'd up shit people have become desensitized to by seeing it presented as innocuous online is insane (seeing dead/totally out of it people on subs, and people joking about it). I don't think people realize how watching this shit is able to really mess one up mentally. You wouldn't eat trash, don't consume mental trash.

The fact that corporations are so money driven and governments so out of touch/ want to pander to corporations is the stuff of dystopia, and its not going to get any better as technology and SM become more and more pervasive at a younger and younger age.

This is another huge reason not to have children IMO (along with the dozens of others) - it literally doesn't matter how you try and bring them up, they will be exposed to outside influences and they don't even need to be outside.
