Get bigger. Get better. Get more social currency. Be more fun more exciting. They are giving you shit because you are lower down on the social dominance hierarchy and giving you shit solidifies that. Figure out what ways will work for you to rise in the popularity/dominance hierarchy. Let’s say you’re short and un-athletic. Ok so be the social connector who meets /introduces various groups and throw the best parties and be a cool dude. Let’s say your a tall athletic socially awkward dude, when they give you shit open an invitation to fight over it. Make them look pathetic if they don’t acquiesce some social currency to get out of the fight. There are many paths to deal with this, but would need more information to give better advice.

If friends, then that's what most friends do, we all give each other shit, no one's sacred. But there is a line between banter and disrespect. If random people or guys in general then they are either threatened by you or you look like a weasel and need to start lifting the weights.
