Most men have to learn this lesson for themselves. Unless they respect you and your opinions they won’t give a shit what you say. I used to try to help men of all ages, it was a waste of my time. The only men that ever listened to me held me with great esteem. And even then they are just one good lay away from forgetting everything you said and jumping into her arms.
