I would say believe you're worth more effort, have higher standards and forgive yourself. You did the best you could do. At least you lost only a few months, altough I understand it is and feels still like a lot.

This isn't your fault, its his. You did the right thing by cutting him off. Now you have the rest of your life to enjoy yourself without him.

Have empathy for yourself. This was on him, not you. Don’t feel guilty for feeling all the feelings. You’re human. And do something that makes you feel good
