Have you noticed a lot of guys in the “alpha 2.0” and “pickup artist” communities are a little over the top and corny?

I’m not talking about the fact that these communities generally attract guys who are naturally nerdy/socially awkward and romantically unsuccessful, that’s expected.

I’m more referring to the over the top and forced “confidence” and bravado these guys attempt to exude. Their alternative style and overly effected way of speaking complete with their own dialect is just sort of clownish.

To be clear, I 100% agree with most/all of the ideology and tactics, I just don’t get why they have to be so corny about it.
