All my life i thought "why would anyone do no fap challanges? -There is no pornography addiction and even if it exists, if it doesnt influence your life in any noticable manner, why would anyone bother?"

But, after reading TRP for some time I've decided to try no fap challenge <only to prove to myself that i can, as an evidence of my will>. I was sure it would be hard since i used to fap even more than once a day.

After some days however I've started to notice that i start to think things like "maybe i will visit this website? looking only doesn't really fail my challenge" "If i don't do anything while watching, it still doesn't count right?" etc. I was so shocked that the only thing i could think was "Why THE FUCK would i do that"

Well i have never been addicted to anything before, but to me it looked as a clear sign of craving the product of addiction. I got very dissapointed in myself then because i have never thought of myself as someone so weak-willed to get addicted to something.

I made a additional rule that day - no looking at porn, even videos of women on the beach are a no-go zone. But I didn't need to wait even a day to notice that we are surrounded by pornography and we cannot avoid it in any way. The ads have half naked models posing in a more vulglar poses than some vanilla porn. Every third youtube video has some clickbait image as a thumbnail, as I exit my apartment and get in to my car i see that some escort company has left leaflets behind my windshield wiper, hell, even my gym has a chick in an underwear as a model for ads. If I don't cleanse myself completely i feel like I'm cheating <even though I don't want to> and I feel like my challenge isn't fully experienced by me because of that fact.
