Is it a coincidence that most of ancient philosophers, religions and ideologies have a certain viewpoint of women ? No, all of them with their thousand of years of knowledge and experience are wrong but these bit**s who havn't seen even their 60th spring are correct.

I was reading a book by a female author recently, something of a feminist, and each chapter began with a historical quote disparaging women. From philosophers, religious figures, politicians, etc. The point, of course, was to show how women were denigrated throughout history and that feminism is a necessary corrective.

But what struck me as interesting is that all these quotes -- from different cultures, across thousands of years of time -- all had the same criticisms of women. That they were frivolous, disloyal, shallow-minded, ruled by their emotions, childish, and scheming, that they suck the life out of men.

And it occurred to me that just maybe, if all these quotes from such a spectrum said the same thing, maybe there was something to it? Maybe the experiences of millions of men, over thousands of years, and the conclusions therefrom, had more validity than those of the recent (historically speaking) feminist claims?

But nah, that would be crazy, right?
