How do you deal with people who take any chance to gossip about you or others in the workplace?

Just remain professional and try and remain indifferent with such coworkers. Stop worrying what they say/think about you. There's nothing you can do to stop them, they're gonna gossip no matter what. This applies to everybody you meet in your life.

Just live your life, everybody has an opinion, it's up to you whether you let it affect you or not.

Btw I'm not saying you should just be a little bitch if they start talking bs about you. Once they go too far, politely show them that you're not to be messed with, but as I said do your best to remain professional at all times.

The two comments already have made good points. Further to them, as long as you are proud of your actions, stand by them. The people that cut you down because of them are only doing it because they are jealous or just upset at their own shitty lives. The people that hear that gossip and see through the negatively will be impressed by your resilience in the face of obvious shit talk.
