I've never gotten into tinder since i'm used to just going to the bar and getting girls from there, but i'm trying to broaden my horizon. Plus it's getting colder and going to the bar doesn't sound too appealing when it's cold so i recently got a tinder. I've noticed that unless the girl is either very outgoing or not very attractive (hb6) i normally find myself having to message first.

How do you guys normally approach matches, i remember reading something on the sidebar a while ago about tinder flirting but the guys intros to conversation only work for physical 9s and 10s where you can basically say anything and they'd still respond. I was able to mimic his style of text mid conversation that has led to meetups and hookups. I don't text girls a whole lot anyway mostly because i'm usually always doing something or with someone so i just text to make plans, or build rapport with someone who's already interested but not interested enough yet to add me to their body count and even then i just snapchat them which i find works better anyway.

Basically what i'm asking is how do you guys start intros other than the basic "hey". Whenever a girl has a specific photo or something i know about/like in their bio i usually target that and it works more than half the time.
