There is a feminist view I have been told time and time again and a stuck with. The view is that being penetrated is degrading and demeaning. Not only does it bring stds/stis and other health issues with itself, it is also an act of submission to another, and thorough submission, the body of the receiver is belittled and disrespected as less than, not human.

It's abuse to submit to another in such a way, and because there's a power dynamic much like a teacher-student relationship, it's impossible to consent to submitting and being penetrated.

The view is that similarly, BDSM is abuse. This is not disrespectful to the agency of those who enjoy receptive sex and BDSM. It is simply recognizing that playing a submissive role in sexual situations and being penetrated are born out of Stockholm Syndrome.

Noone can consent to submitting, being beaten, choked, penetrated, etc, noone can consent to being harmed. And when they do, it is because they are mentally unwell/ill, which makes the "consent" invalid. Therefore, every act of submitting to someone, being penetrated, etc is sexual assault, abuse and rape and should be illegal or at the very least shamed and stigmatized.

Does anyone here have arguments against this view?
