Note to mods: Unsure on the flair for this, feel free to flag me up on it.

This post is more for the new comers that are still crying into their cum rags late at night over backrub betty because she got slammed by Power Pumper Pete at a party you didn't go to because you were at home playing video games. The ones who haven't started lifting because they're 'not there yet' or whatever it is you tell yourself. Or, simply for those that just need a little kick because shit's been rough. You might have lost your job during the pandemic and have fell into a downward spiral. Don't waste this feeling.

If you're already feeling a huge negative energy because something has gone wrong. Don't ruin your life for it, don't sit and weep, build something of yourself, even if it just means building your biceps. Bite down hard.

Most of us here may have been in a situation where we felt hurt and betrayed because we trusted women before actually understanding them. TRP offered us the truth in black and white and we felt anger coarsing through our veins. Let me get straight into the purpose of this post and explain what it is I used back then and still use today to pump iron like I've just snorted 6 scoops of the Whizzy whopper pre-workout and can literally see sounds.

Redirecting your energy to something useful

Alright scenario time. You're still Beta Billy and TRP is unheard of in your life at this point. You're in your disney relationship with your high school oneitis and you're sitting at home staring at your screen wondering why she hasn't replied to one of your 100 text messages and phone calls. She said she was going for a small gathering with her friends and won't be home too late. You trusted her word.

Your phone lights up, it's one of your bros. 'Yo this your girl? She just got her back blown out by power pumper Pete and passed the fuck out'. You feel that stabbing sensation in your chest right there? The warmth of true anger? What do you do with it? Nothing? Do you just let it happen and break you? The same applies to the anger phase you experience when discovering the RP truths.

Not everyone has felt this or knows of it, but I'm sure the majority has felt betrayal and/or loss. It doesn't feel good at all but our body produces a kind of energy that we can't always force ourselves to do anything with until we understand it actually is an energy and not just pain.

Now you feel the power of that energy right there. What if you could use it for something good?

I lost one of my best friends to completely unexpected heart failure while he was out running just after I found TRP. I heard the news and there that energy was.

I let it consume me for a while until I couldn't anymore and I got in my car and drove to the gym. I worked out like a fucking madman using that energy, the pain from pushing myself to do constant reps felt good and I learned to enjoy it.

Reflecting on that later on was a moment of realisation. Every bit of energy I had whether it negative or positive could be pushed somewhere else, for something else.

  • Shitty day at work?
  • Some cuntwagon hit your car in the parking lot?
  • Your oneitis getting slammed by a real alpha male?
  • You get a raise?
  • Secured a date to see the HB9 again that you met at the bar?

You get the point. Don't dwindle on the bad things and don't get satisfied with the good things. Don't go pull up bangbros, beers and order some greasy food just yet. Pack your stuff and get to the gym. Feel that energy with every rep. Let out a roar deep in your chest where that energy's coming from while you deadlift your PB. Work until it's gone, without overdoing it. Work a different muscle group if it's still there.

It's so easy to waste energy when we don't recognise that's what it is our body is producing. If we felt nothing we'd do nothing.

Modern day especially. We're programmed to get home, jump on the couch and turn the TV on. If you ever use the excuse that you 'lack motivation'. Here's your motivation. You have the energy and it's your choice on how to spend it, no one else can do that for you. Get into a routine of this and you'll really start to understand how people can send it at the gym 5 days a week. Lifting is more a feeling than an action once you really internalise it, then it should become second nature.

Now each time you go to the gym out of routine without needing any of this, remember the feeling when you need to make that last rep.

An additional positive influence this has

If you really can't figure out how to get that stoic image and demeanour so many of you want to achieve, this can influence it. You'll automatically have less jump in you. You should feel like an immovable object after a real gym session. (Mostly because you can't move because your arms are about to drop off) but you should have a rock solid clear mind too, give less of a fuck and be able to be who you need to be to get what you want. You should also be less up and down because you've expended that energy the right way.

TLDR;

Use every bit of emotion you feel whether positive or negative as expendable energy to achieve something rather than wasting it sat on the couch at home. Lifting is my best recommendation because it's easy and simple, you don't have to think about it you can strictly just feel it. Once you build a routine and learn how to do this on demand, you'll be where you want to be physically in no time and you'll probably be more emotionally solid.
