They have this thing called baby rabies. some of them are smart enough to know that they can divorce the guy in future should any guy she can monkey branch to comes along. Some of them plan to divorce for alimony. But they know that their eggs won’t last forever. Better to get the kids out ASAP. Then she has fulfilled her biological needs and possibly locked down alimony and have kids to control.

A lot of them (and a lot of men do this too, to be fair) have been conditioned to think that it is another person's job to make them happy, so they see the relationship as this one-sided wants-fulfillment vehicle where they selfishly use the other person to address the misery that only they themselves crawl out of. Add in a dash of having an unrealistic ideal of what love is supposed to be (6'3 Disney Chad with a thunder-cock and who makes one million dollars yearly, and makes them feel butterflies 24/7, since those grow on trees).

Nobody taught them that a real committed marriage has ups and downs (remember the vows?).
