I can sort of see where she is coming from, but I don't agree. Yes, pregnancy and childbirth can reek havoc on a woman's body, which can take years to repair itself (if it does repair itself) yes it can be a very dangerous process. Yes abortion can be a physically and emotionally draining experience. Yes it feels unfair that women have to go through this and men don't. Yes, abortion (in my opinion) should always be an option if you feel it's necessary.

No, that doesn't give you the right in my opinion to force parenthood on someone who doesn't want it. If you can opt out of parental responsibility, he should be able to also. And the way biology works, whilst it may be unfair, is not the fault of men or fathers. Stop holding it against them.
