Shes clearly from the low socio economic background, possibly on benefits where they scrounge to eat each others food because theres not enough to go around.

Its not her offer thats at fault, its like a lower standing pack animal offering food to the higher standing pack animal as a gesture of respect. What is at fault is her. She is no match for a higher ranking male of your level.
