Hi men, I'm completely new here, although I'm an avid reader of The Red Pill. I'm working on my mission to become a better man, using every useful thing the Manosphere has to offer. As a 21 years old European and a last year undergraduate of philosophy and history, I have one question for you, of somewhat abstract nature. I dearly hope you will answer me. In the Red Pill community and in mostly the whole of Manosphere, we all know about the term "hypergamy". I want to ask you, how is this term any different from "polygamy"? In the root of the word "poly" in Latin means "many". It fits the concept behind the word "hypergamy" pretty equivalently. So why not use polygamy instead of hypergamy? What do you think? Is there some negative connotation behind the difference? Don't take me wrong, I respect all of you guys here. Your path to masculinity - just as mine - is hard and strenuous.
