Watching this movie featuring Kate Beckinsale.

The trailer already provides the plot point for the film.

The main character, has ONE date with this guy who says all the things she wants to hear. And she falls head over heels for him. Partly due to the lack of human connection/support system she has, and partly due to that increase in oxytocin she was bound to be feeling.

The whole time I'm watching this dude she's dating I'm like what is wrong with you sir. She has red flags and yet you are STILL interested. Date 1: she bails on him partway through Date 2: they have sex, morning after he buys her an expensive camera for her hobby.

I get that she's beautiful (really loving the blonde on Kate, overall just love the action moves she brings to her characters) and it really just came off as he wants a beautiful woman to have consistent sex with. Anything else about her doesn't matter.

WELL WELL WELL. the ending was not surprising mmhmmm. Everything clicks into place. (I enjoyed the movie well enough, but I wouldn't recommend it. It was more of a therapy watch for me and reinforce my instincts)
