Netflix Christmas romcom.

Not worth the watch ladies.

(I enjoy Nina and honestly believed the movie would end in friendship because that’s the closest thing to believable that could occur)

The movie ended in the typical romcom way of: guy and girl end up together.

The main characters are both bad. Too many problematic characters tbh.

Catfishing shouldn’t be rewarded.

Hollywood is back at it again, giving us a love interest that lives at home with his parents in the basement (gotta keep up with the current standards of men right). Giving us an attractive woman looking for love and willing to drastically lower her standards to “get it” (love)

If you compare the main characters. Job. Friends. Family. Living arrangements. Etc. it would be a sliding scale in many ways.

The one thing I enjoyed about the film was in the beginning, the apartment montage. While she was falling in love via electronic communication I was enjoying her living single in her apartment, the decor, baking soda in the freezer, the “at home comfy casual” attire. And how it differed from her glam date look and 🤓 work look.
