I noticed this with the far left, they express what they hate, then fully go into detail why they hate that particular thing and only when normal people see it, then they only claim it as a joke.

A good example of this is when you criticise feminists, only when you criticise feminism the feminists claim that it's a very very very small amount of feminists yet as soon as you criticise their ideals suddenly they become the thing they claim to be a tiny fraction of.

A classic bigot too looking at the response - instead of engaging with the discussion around their unacceptable behaviour, they use gendered insults and just ignore the valid criticism.

Imagine if a male mod behaved in a similar way, leaving incredibly sexist comments and then using gendered insults (e.g. “sad, lonely old cat-woman” etc) against anyone that called them out. How long before they’d be banned?

I always thought that upvote and downvote was there to display how meaningful the comment is, you know, those people who are just karma grinders and say "yes queen", "agree", "no" and anything like that that is there just to comment and get karma, so you downvote them, because why even comment when you can not say something that would actually hold any value. Not that it is the only thing you should evaluate, disagreement is also option, tho I like giving different opinion more than just downvote someone (if you are not banned in said /r ehm). But this is so common, mainly in those feminist/ultra-left echochambers, even more among mods. You see person with 200k karma and when you look at their comments, it is nothing, just projecting and hoarding.
