I would say that the differences detailed by the users here would give you a good idea between Incel's and MGTOW. I've been a MGTOW for a while ever since I got the Negative DNA Test. To most of us, it's really about just not wanting to care about the stereotypical "Love" angle.

We just see it as a waste of our time, when we could be much happier doing life for us.

The best example of the Difference between Incel and MGTOW, is that Incel's are involuntary Celibates, whilst some MGTOW choose to be celibate. Some other's still have FWB's and such, but there will be no committal to a Long Term Relationship.

The Juice ain't worth the squeeze.

EDIT: As the comment below made a good point about LTR's, Some do, But will never put a ring on it.

Most MGTOW aren't incel

Most incel haven't committed violence of any sort

The usage of the term 'incel' as a pejorative is misandrist because it presumes 'you can't get a woman' as being the measure of a man

A woman who cannot get a man she wants to commit to her is exactly as pathetic as a man who cannot get a woman to have sex with her

Women who have been rejected for commitment from men whom they've had sex with have been known to commit violence against men, both directly and through the State.

If incel means involuntary celebacy.

Then mgtow aka men going their own way, at the surface level, meant voluntary celebacy.

We are just dead tired of rigged dating game and the marriage and divorce laws that skew heavily on women, that most men here just living life in our own terms away from traditional dating and marriage.

Mgtow is Men going their own way which means no marriage and no cohabitation because of the gynocentric laws of the western world which is biased against men this doesn't mean we hate women or think AWALT we just do not wish to be romantically involved with them and choose to focus on our physical, emotional, mental well being while self improving daily

This is also a space for men to vent about their problems and receive positive advice from other wiser men

Mods will probably nuke this post and direct you to r/purplepilldebate or r/askTRP, but I'll give you a brief rundown of what we're about.

Ideally, a man going his own way has taken a purely logical, rational look at marriage and relationships, and decieded it"s not worth the risks. Hate or resentment doesn't factor into the decision, but a bit of personal experience might have put him on the path. There are a few stages on that path much like the five stages of grief, and a lot of us do get angry in the inital stages when the fantasy we've been sold about women being perfect angels is torn down before our very eyes. Incels are still angry about it and might let that anger turn into hate, but a man going his own way lets go of the anger because he knows anger will not make anything better. If we continue on our journey, we'll realize that women aren't perfect, or even superior in any way, but that's nothing to get angry about. They're flawed, imperfect, human beings just like us, and have been influenced by a society that's lost its way. There's no reason to be angry, and many times they're more deserving of sympathy than resentment because this social climate is doing just as much harm to women as it is to men. Just look at the skyrocketing rates of depression, mental illnesses, psychoactive drug dependency, and alcoholism among women. It's not good for anyone.

But there's nothing that any individual man can do to change that now. Every person with any kind of cultrual influence is still promoting the same ideologies that caused these problems to begin with, and us normal people just have to focus on our own little corner of the world and get through life as best we can. Some of us have sworn off relationships and interactions with women of any kind (monk mode), and some of us still date, have female friends, or even have a long-term girlfriend. But the tenants that unite us are a refusal to marry a woman and a refusal to cohabitate with a woman. Those two things are what give a woman the opportunity to take advantage of unfair marriage/family laws and sieze of control of our money, our time, and everything we've built and earned for ourselves. And even though most of us know not every woman would do so if given the opportunity, there's no way to know for sure what any individual woman would do until she has the opportunity. So we just don't give them the opportunity. Much safer that way.

MGTOW and Incels are different (correct me if I'm wrong)

Have you seen comments by some males on social media:

"You are a goddess, please ignore hatred in comments, if you face any problems, you can message me anytime, I'm always there to help".

Such comments come from incels because they are desperate for relationships. See posts on /r/whiteknighting, you will see there are lot of men who pretend to care about morality but only take action when a man is hitting women. There are literal social experiments on YouTube in which white knights don't standup when a man was being hit by his partner, but as soon as he defends, they stand up. That's because incels want validation.

Mgtow men have gone through relationships & marriage & divorce which is enough to learn the reality that relationships are conditional and a slippery slope.

Society hates men who don't perform. So of course they will insult men as incels who don't support the concept of marriage and long term relationship.
