If you're sick of manosphere / mgtow content, I think that's a fantastic indicator of your progress as a red pilled individual. Remember that men are being red pilled at an unprecedented rate, so most of the content is still valuable for them.

Maybe you've reached acceptance that things are the way they are, and moved on, by asking yourself

So, where do we go from here?

Wherever YOU want.

You could stick around the communities and offer advice and opinions to others, or you can just leave it all behind. "Watching YouTube" doesn't seem like much of a purpose to me, so perhaps you could broaden your options while thinking about where you go from here.

You're looking at it like "Here is the Red Pill. That's all there is." However, it's not. It's a constant tug-of-war, with society pulling in one direction and the Red Pill pulling in the other, each trying to tip the scales in their favor. Society will adapt and find news ways to keep men on the plantation. The Red Pill will evolve and find new ways to pull them off the plantation. It's a constant struggle as old as the beginning of time, and will continue to the end of days.

As for content creators and videographers, times are changing, and the Red Pill is adapting. What once was passed along from word of mouth, to books and audio, is now adapting to the future generations who live in the online world, through video, streaming, blogs, and forums. However, in a world where online platforms are only as free as you obey the rules of the masters, sometimes it's necessary to pay for certain freedoms, such as avoiding censorship and being able to lay it all out, uncut and unconstrained from the chains that bind our hands and the muzzles that keep us silent. Mind you, one does not have to pay for the free content, but to me, it's a small sacrifice to support those who make a living spreading the word.

Granted, there are those out there who are taking advantage of the trend. There are always those who will seek to profit off the work of others, and as followers of the Red Pill, I believe it is in our best interest to call these out when we find them. There is nothing more we can really do about it, that is, if we decide to do anything about it at all.

As with all philosophies, all we can really do is keep spreading the word, and learning how to communicate our knowledge to the future generations.

I remember back in 92' a punker friend of mine would go off about different bands "selling out". It was like his holy mission or something, declaring which music was made for artistic reasons and which was made for selling albums. And I was like... "they are ALL made for selling albums. How can anyone hear the music if they don't buy it?" He never got my point...

There's nothing wrong with selling a product. If your stuff has enough intrinsic value that people want to pay you to keep producing it, then good for you. Making good videos is a very time-consuming process. It is very real labor. Some do it for passion, some do it for profit. And -you- get to decide which ones you watch.

There are grifters, sure. There was a guy called Yogi Yoabs who started out making PUA stuff, then realized there was a big audience for MGTOW, so he suddenly went "full angry mgtow" to get tons of followers, only "have a realization!!!!!" and go back to PUA videos (like he always planned.)

He was a ripoff artist, and the MGTOW saw this, and rejected him. He started trying to shame people, and made a horrendous mistake when he called out Undead Chronic in a video. Undead Chronic is a merciless roast-type comedian, and ripped him a new asshole. You can probably find the videos if you look for them. Real funny.

And keep in mind. MGTOW is growing faster than ever, because women are Redpilling men harder than ever. Those new guys need fresh content to help them through the Redpill Rage, and folks like Better Bachelor, Greg Adams and Strong Successful Male are providing much needed support. So what if they get donations for it?

If people can get money out of something, they will commodicize it. That includes MGTOW. Just a fact of life, sadly. It doesn't mean the content is necessarily bad, but buyer beware.

Exactly! Well said. Don't marry/cohabitate because those are now bad deals for men due to legal ramifications. Nothing to do with women directly, even. A good woman can rip your balls out through your wallet as well as any bad woman. Never make a contract with someone where the person benefits from breaking that contract. It's common sense.

But there are a lot more "likes" in MGTOW forums to express general hatred for women. Virtue signalers gotta virtue signal.

i'm focused on conversations that deal with the aspects of life concerning the mundane daily to-and-fro as a single man.

minimalist living, how to set up your home so it doesn't require lots of work to maintain, how to do large jobs that usually require two people, single-handedly, etc. there's real power in developing techniques that take a 2 person job and turn it into a job anyone can do by themselves.

maintaining health and robust strength into old age is another big one. making sure we stay safe and don't do anything that might injure us, we don't have the luxury of being crippled.

there's lots to talk about bro, still waters run deep.

I said this many times here, the newer content creators try to make a sort of PUA thing out of MGTOW, with course and so on. (For example Coach Greg Adams) Or constantly discuss shallow articles over and over. So the new guys never get the idea what MGTOW is about. Thats also the reason we see so many trash posts on the Sub. The people that are coming here, after discovering MGTOW through this "Gurus" think its solely about bashing women.

In the past there was so much more quality content. Some of it was monetized, sure, but that wasn't the primary motive of the content creators. Now the opposite is the casse.

Once I got bored of red pill content I realized my rage had passed and I moved on with my life, where MGTOW is less an active thing and just normal for me now.

A lot of the supposed 'red pill ' channels like hammer hand and 5 years of freedom are really just women hate channels and aren't really red pill to be honest. A red pill to me is finally realizing you don't need a woman in your life to live a happy and fulfilling one. My advice is not to watch mgtow channels.

Where do you go from here? Make your own content! Talk about topics you want to talk about.

Or live your own life how you want without seeking approval from anyone. Don't want to get married? Don't! I know I won't be. That's the beauty of mgtow is women are not a requirement for a happy life.

Well I ave been toying with the idea of creating quite a strict dicord enviroment for people who think exactly this way. Which is lets move on. Help people over the fence who need it eg divorce adivce and various aspects of damage limitation

And of course to try to figure out just exactly where we are going that actually has some kinda purpose.

I don't have a problem with people monetizing their work. It is a good metric for determining value. If someone is willing to pay another for their content, then it must be good to begin with, and since it is all directly to the creator because no big sponsors will be showing up for mgtow creators any time soon, it's a sure-fire way for those creators to see that people really do like their stuff.

Making good content takes time. There is research, writing, audio/video production, editing, post-production, and all of it having to be done well enough to avoid being de-monetized or deplatformed because anything pro-men is deemed as evil by femenzai's.

Offerring up something as a course or service is not a scam. It's just a product that may be right for some but not for others.

This shouldn't really be a problem if you are really going your own way — you shouldn't be idolising/slurping up the ideas of other people, even on your "side," and you should be thinking and doing for yourself. If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him — that sort of deal. Doing otherwise leads to the situation you just described, i.e. having prominent spokespeople or illusory figureheads for the community or movement abuse the rapport they've built up with their fanatics/followers eventually or from the start to make a buck/career off them. The more earnest sorts feel crushed or disappointed by it when they notice, although they, again, shouldn't have been regarding that person as so important or much of a relevant ally to begin with. Everyone else, disillusioned or not, gets locked in to using the same vocabulary and talking points, good and bad, from their favourite "content creators" as if they are incapable of filling their own head with their own "original content"/ideas.

In short, there are grifters in everything these days — if you aren't going to do the work of calling them out/condemning them, then you should just ignore them as any grifter and move on with developing your own path.

I feel like a lot of content creators are really missing the plot. There's only so many videos you can make about never getting married, female nature, the legal system, why you shouldn't get married, etc. Not to mention PUA's that try to sell you courses a lot of men can really end up spending a lot of money on courses on "Male Excellence." [....]

And I would have a channel out there too, but I feel like I wouldn't be adding anything new to the conversation other than what's already been said 1000x over.

So, where do we go from here?

Well, that's the problem, isn't it? There are only so many things that can be said about these topics. It's hard to find a fresh angle. That's why you see so much repetition, not just within channels but across channels.

Perhaps it's unfair to blame the content creators for this, though. You admit yourself that you can't think of anything new to add. Maybe they can't think of anything new to say, either?

Some of them don't need to. Their audience is happy to hear the same ideas, over and over again. I'm not looking down my nose at them. I regularly watch MGTOW and red pill content on Youtube, and I've heard 98% of it before. Still, I find some of it entertaining and reinforcing.

As for the monetization, I know what you mean about the $2000 courses in masculinity. That's ridiculous. It reminds me of the PUA guys and their pricey seminars.

In general, though, I don't mind people making money off Youtube. It does require work, and it is providing a service. It's fair to earn money for a service you provide, which people value. I don't begrudge anyone earning a buck. I do think the financial incentives can skew the presentation and the content, though. It's good to be aware of that.
