Since January I've been trying to rebuild my life from scratch and things seemed to be going pretty well but covid has put me in a difficult spot, I lost my job, I lost my savings, I can't pay the rent and I'm about to become homeless. Three years ago I experienced a tremendous depressive crisis and since then everything stopped caring, I didn't expect anything or find satisfaction in anything and yet I never had any real problems, it's ironic that just when I want to take control of my life back all hell breaks loose and no effort seems enough to keep me afloat.

I have never been close to my family, I have no friends, no wife or children, I live alone in a small rented room. Since I was a child I was taught that a man must take care of his own problems and for me it is tremendously embarrassing and humiliating to need help.

The point is, don't wait until the last minute to ask for help if you need it, no matter how embarrassing or humiliating it is, if you see problems looming on the horizon be cautious and sacrifice some of your pride ask for help and you will avoid finding yourself right in the eye of the shit storm like I am now, and remember fother people´s help will only be useful if we are willing to help ourselves.

I know I will soon be back on my feet and I will not make the same mistake again.
