Hey TRP,
I have a hard time asking for advice, because I always learned to find my solutions on my own. In that case there are to many variables and I want to hear something outside of my situation.
My current life-situation:
- 25, living in germany.
- Finished my Bachelor in IT-Economics
- No Debts
- Living at an apartment with my parents. All costs are paid, so I don't have to pay anything. Every Cent I spent literally goes into great food and travelling (and hookers. Just kidding, never paid for it). We ain't super-rich, but we are in the higher middle class, due to my hard work of my parents.
- Living in a medium-sized city, which is wonderful and full of life.
- Lifting / Reading / Meditating / Having solid romances / Solid social circle & status in many areas.
So I'm literally still at a point where I can do anything with my life. So I'm filled with a plenty variety of available choices.
So what Options are there and my opinion on them:
- Doing my Masters => At that point I don't really see the value of doing my masters instead of just working.
- Building on my current Dating / pickup-related company => That's what I do for the last year. Used to work 2 years previously for some other company in those terms. It still takes some time "till" it's worth it.
- Working for a company => At that point I'm fearing the loss of "free"-time and the chances to travel, when I work +40 hours a week and just about 30 days of vacation. Also I didn't really take my studies seriously, my grades are ok, but I feel like I learned nothing. I'm confident, that I can learn most of the things. It's just, I never realized if they will be fun.
- ... and many more choices.
I see it as an opportunity, to make so much more out of life. I mean I don't have to take care about so many basic things, so I can focus on higher "problems/solutions". My own answer to my question would be to just go for anything and fully immerse into it, and not be afraid of making a mistake. But I'm also aware of my biased view of sunk costs and some other beliefs. In regards of Fitness/Dating I'm doing quite well. Just Finances is the main area right now, which needs the most attention in my life. I also don't belief in the passion thing. What I do currently, is just because I had the most experience with at the current time. Every job / perspective has his sides which are awesome and suck, so I'm not afraid to try something new, I just want some perspective.
So I'm asking random strangers on the internet for advice. What are some things I should consider / ideas which helped you in your own life to build up your lifestyle/ Finding your work and evolving in it.
