This post was inspired by an earlier post I responded to and it got me thinking. It got me thinking about hypergamy, and the paradoxical nature of female desire and happiness in relationships etc.
Hypergamy does not care. I think it was Rollo Tomassi that coined the term and I'm sure we have all heard it before. Usually that's taken to mine that hypergamy does not care about things like loyalty, honesty, morality etc. it just runs roughshod over all of these. But I thought what if I approach it more like a physicist, and treat "hypergamy does not care" as a first principle. In the same way that "the speed of light in a vacuum is a constant for all observers regardless of their inertial frame" is an iron clad rule that applies in all circumstances, and that this explains all of the counterintuitive consequences of that, I thought what happens if we take "hypergamy does not care" as equally inviolate.
If hypergamy does not care, then by implication it does not care about women, and ah the penny drops. The purpose of hypergamy is to facilitate reproduction, not enable the fulfilment or happiness of the woman as an individual. A salmon will swim upstream, spawn, and die of exhaustion, but it has fulfilled it's purpose. The "coin of the realm" in evolution is not survival but reproduction; the salmon is just the Amazon delivery box the genes come in what matters is that they get passed on. The salmon is disposable. We talk a lot about male disposability (which is a real thing for exactly the reasons I've just described) but if hypergamy does not care, then the female is also disposable provided she has reproduced first.
This is why women are constantly being hoisted by their own petard; chasing bad boys, "Chads", walking away from a stable marriage to "find themselves", hamstering, all the self destructive behaviors we criticise them for. The paradox of female behavior is only a paradox if you assume hypergamy is there to benefit women. It's not. In the end, hypergamy considers the woman herself to be a means to an end just as much as you are.
If there's a point to this then first and foremost it is that understanding is the best defense. Understanding why they do what they do. They're not Satan's Rubik's cube you can rationally understand their irrational behavior if you start from the right point. Secondarily (distant second) this can benefit women themselves, and by extension us. Yes we're MGTOW but we still have females in our lives we care about; a daughter, a sister, a cousin (and ladies I know some of you are here too out of curiosity) they need to understand they have this demon on their back that does not have their best interests at heart. That's what happened to society it actively encouraged women to act on their hypergamy rather than reign it in, literally letting the demon amok. Not that I hold out any hope, but I still thought it was worth saying.
Anyway, feel free to respond, expand on it, criticise, tell me to stop talking nonsense, or not. Stay safe, gentlemen.
