Sales. Possibly cell phones. You get a large variety of people in the store, and you converse with them constantly. It will help you work your game and get your art of BS to a good level.

I worked at a grocery store (meat department) while in school and enjoyed it.

Benefits: -We gave our own little discounts on cuts of meat and stuff like that, so grocery shopping was a lot cheaper for me. During football season I would always load up on some stuff, was the favorite guy at tailgates.

-Always great to learn a new skill. I really enjoyed learning about different cuts of steak and how to cut them up properly. Made me a better cook at home as well.

-The grocery store was near campus so a lot of girls went there obviously. Great way to start up conversations. Granted, it's while wearing a name tag, but at worst it's practice for starting up conversations. Technically it's your job anyway, so no pressure on that front.

Overall, good experience. Pay could have been better but getting a lot of groceries at pretty heavily discounted prices kinda helped out with that.

sales to learn social manipulation / adapting,

or serving / waiter to boost memory and get tax-free tips,

or tending bar for more tips and flirting chances but the hours might kill your STEM degree / focus
