No. He is not MGTOW, period. Even if he perscribes to some of our ideas. It's like a person that lives by a lot of the teaching of Jesus or Bhudda but doesn't actually believe in an afterlife or God. They aren't part of those organizations.

A MGTOW is a man that refuses to cohabitate and refuses to marry. That's it. You either are or you aren't. Hell, you can be a MGTOW feminist, conversative, Christian Muslim, etc.

But if you are married, you are, by the very definition of what it means to be MGTOW, not going your own way.

The basic steps to be a MGTOW is don't marry, and don't cohabitate.

Therefore, if you are married, you are not a MGTOW.

I could be wrong but I coulda swore he was actually at odds with MGTOW or in sharpe disagreement in some areas. I don’t think considers himself a MGTOW tho.

There was an interesting talk involving Rollo and a few guys affiliated with the Entrepreneurs and Cars group with MGTOW Youtuber Turd Flinging Monkey. Now I know some people might find TFM a little radical, but the talk revealed Rollo and his group's inherent reliance on female validation to gain a sense of purpose in their lives.

Freeing yourself from the biological clutch of female validation and understanding how much of a liability and risk it is in the current legal and political climate, to me is one of the most fundamental aspects of MGTOW which Rollo does not ascribe to.

This isn't necessarily the case for him, but I think it's a reminder of how family life directs your focus and can hinder growth in other areas. No matter how red pill you are, you can't escape the simple fact that you have to interact daily with a wife and/or kids in the modern world, and so your mind is forced to engage constantly at that level and be preoccupied with their concerns and drama. Any other pursuits will be hampered, there's no way around it.

Outside of his two books, what else is there left for him to tell this kind of forum anyway?

He’s not Mgtow but his information has been priceless to the manosphere. His book was a combination of trial and error and years of back and forth on the sosauve blog.

Without all that information all these men groups would just be the opposite of feminism. Instead you can see the actual reasoning amongst all the different mindsets in TRP.

He goes his own way. That includes marriage for him. The idea of going your own way includes the ability to do what you want. He states he is in a long term Red Pill relationship clearly in The Rational Male.
