There is a chance she is just wanting the comfort of the additional person, or a bunch of hypotheticals that we will never know. Not your issue to ponder.

Never draw attention to the fact that she brought an uninvited person. You are now speaking with actions and sub text. Her language. Verbally addressing loses any points you have and she will be dead to you.

Have fun at the meet and don't worry about what happens that day or the next.

If you don't want to hang out with her and a friend just tell her 'nah forget about it' and cancel the meeting. You don't need to go if you don't want to lol.

If she's interested she'll probably reschedule herself, if not, you can try again later.

Ask her if her friend is cute, if she's not I'd just cancel it. If the friend is cute you can flirt with her and have fun.

Good job, man. I meant it. It seems it was a big deal for you to do this and good job on doing it.

Try to hang with only her, but don't push it if she says the friend has to come also. Honestly, just hang with both of them for an hour or so and just shoot shit. Try to make fun of her (not in a mean way) as you would with a guy friend and that's it. Take it as conversational practice.

If this all goes good enough, the next time you ask her to hang she will go alone with you, then you know... Games on
