Literally, even asking this question is not Zero Fucks Given, because you're giving enough of a fuck to ask. Making any effort to better yourself is not Zero Fucks Given, because you have to give a fuck to dress well, eat healthy, go to the gym, talk to girls, develop a reputation etc.

What Zero Fucks Given really means is give a fuck about things that matter, like your happiness, your health, and your relationships. Don't give a fuck about things that don't matter, like petty women and their shit tests, toxic people, and things that you have no influence over.

Don't take Zero Fucks Given literally.

having an IDGAF attitude doesn't mean you really stop giving a fuck about everything. you're never going to truly stop giving a fuck about anything because human beings do have needs and you'll always give a fuck about having food, water, shelter, safety, etc.

the combination of having a strong IDGAF frame and solid self-confidence will allow you to drastically reduce the amount of fucks given. you stop caring about pointless shit that you can't control, you stop caring about pointless shit that doesn't really affect you, and you stop caring about other people's dumb opinions because most people are overly emotional retards.

also most people like to publicly demonstrate how many fucks they give because they're really just virtue-signalling. they're seeking validation from others. swallowing the red pill means you stop relying so much on other people for validation and instead you look inwardly. when you do this, there's no reason to score easy validation points through virtue-signalling, so you won't do it. if you quit virtue-signalling, it will go a long way toward IDGAF attitude.

you teach yourself to stop worrying about pointless bullshit, which is where ordinary people tend to waste a lot of their fucks given. one example is all the drama over politics right now. people are stressed out, getting worked up, arguing, protesting. in reality nothing you can do is going to affect what Trump does. and for the vast majority of people it's going to have absolutely zero effect on their day-to-day lives. it's pointless to give a fuck about shit like that, so stop wasting your energy.

also consider sprezzatura - it's an italian word originally to describe courtly behavior but now mostly used in fashion that basically means carefully planned nonchalance. things like intentionally leaving a button unbuttoned or a crooked tie. gianni agnelli liked to wear his wristwatch on the outside of this shirtsleeve. sprezzatura isn't a mistake, it's counter-signalling that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the rules by breaking them in an elegant way. when we talk about IDGAF, it's really more like applying sprezzatura to your attitude rather than truly not caring about anything.

Not giving a fuck is not about doing dumb shit, it's about not holding yourself back and not worrying about what other people think. In a way, they might even complement each other. Being bold, aloof and centered is usually better for your reputation than being always worried, meek and passive-aggressive.

The real DGAF alphas of our world are drug dealers, gangsters, pimps, etc. They are attractive to women for a number of reasons. One of them is that they actually do give a fuck, but only about their street cred, or their wallet, or their next fix.

They also risk serious jail time for a laugh, act like rabid monkeys defending their patch of dirt and just generally don't have a good grasp on long term risk vs. reward valuation.

In short, they are degenerates. If your only goal in life is to fuck bitches, drink, do drugs, and be 'cool', go for it.

I have other plans. As such I will always "give more fucks" than those guys. But women will still want me, because I give more of a fuck about my mission than I ever will about them. That's the main key.
